Principal Investigator in Computational Modeling for Multi-Omics Data in Oncology
The CRCM is an international cancer research center affiliated to national (Inserm, CNRS) and local (Aix-Marseille University, Paoli-Calmettes Cancer Institute) institutions. The center hosts 450 members in 4 Departments dedicated to Cell Communication and Microenvironment, Genome Integrity, Onco-Hematology and Immuno-Oncology, and Translational/Clinical research (https://crcm.marseille.inserm.fr/en/) in the South-East of France. The CRCM combines outstanding research and access to high education in oncology and immunology, state-of-the-art technological support and a collegial set of teams offering a fertile and outstanding environment to develop fundamental, translational or clinical projects for patient benefits. The center has a long history in the discovery of targets, pathways and protein complexes of fundamental and physiopathological relevance and offers access to state-of-the-art equipment in proteomics, genomics, histo-pathology, cell imaging, preclinics, immunomonitoring, bioinformatics and biobanking. The CRCM benefits from an exceptional academic environment (Institute in Cancer and Immunology, Institute Digital and AI for Health, the regional Canceropole PACA), and is a cornerstone of the Marseille Immunology Biocluster initiative (https://mibiocluster.com/en/) regrouping other leading scientific institutions, hospitals, faculties and a park of biotechs in the sunny area of Marseille.
In 2025, the CRCM will host a novel laboratory dedicated to computational modeling for multi-omics DATA in oncology aiming to reinforce its capacity and excellence in this field, in close collaboration with teams and platforms, and the medical activities of Paoli-Calmettes Cancer Institute. We are recruiting a Junior/Senior Investigator to lead vigorous independent research programs in her/his own team at CRCM. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic center to accelerate cancer research.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in computational approaches and a preferred expertise in oncology. As Principal Investigator, s/he will have preferentially experience in management of a team and will be a key contributor in data analysis in oncology, aiming to establish collaborations with teams and other CRCM facilities.
