The FPS offers a number of original services (event announcements, job offers, mailing list, quarterly newsletter). It organizes regular theme days and an annual national congress.
The FPS offers scholarships to enable some of its members to take part in national or international congresses related to our discipline.
To pursue our activities, our society needs your membership, which takes the form of an annual subscription entitling you to:
- Membership of EuPA (European Proteomics Association) for the current year
- Use the advertising services of the FPS website (job offers and applications, event promotions)
- Reduced registration fees for annual congresses, EuPA congresses and ongoing training courses sponsored by FPS
- Free access to theme days organized by the company
- Participation in the Youth club (for PhD students, post-docs and under-35s)

Annual fees (valid for the calendar year): Regular fee: €35,00 Student fee: €10,00 * Donor member rate: €90,00 € ** * Please enclose proof with your membership application (student card) ** Entitles you to a tax reduction of 66% of the amount paid as a donation to a non-profit organization. This applies to people who pay tax in France. A tax receipt will be sent to you. Actual cost of donor membership: €30,60 |
How to become an FPS member?
- Create your "member" profile by completing the online registration form
- If you are under 35 years old, we encourage you to tick the "Join the youth Club" box. Membership is free of charge.
- To validate your registration, you will need to pay your membership free as described below. If you wish to pay by purchase order, please select the bank transfer method when you register for the first time (to renew your membership, simply send us the purchase order with your email address).
How to renew my FPS membership?
- Using your access code and password, log on the the Member's Area
- If necessary, update your personal information.
- If you wish to pay by purchase order, you don't need to continue with the following steps (sending the purchase order with email address is sufficient).
- For other payment methods, open the My Memberships page.
- Click on the Renew my Membership button and pay your membership fee (see below).
How do I pay for my FPS membership?
You can pay for your membership (valid for the calendar year) on our website (by credit card, bank cheque or bank transfer) or by sending an order form.
If you wish to pay by purchase order, please send your profile information (email address) together with a purchase order addressed to:

In addition, it is possible to pay on the website, once registered (first registration) or logged in (registration renewal), via different payment methods:
- By credit card: you can pay directly by credit card on our website in a secure manner (via a Crédit Agricole platform). Your membership will become effective as soon as the transaction has been validated.
- By bank cheque: print out your profile information and send it with a cheque payable to FPS to the Treasurer's address above.
- By bank transfer: at the end of the membership procedure, you will be sent FPS's RIB (National Account Identifier). Please indicate the member's name and year of membership in the reason for the transfer. This is also the method to select when you register for the first time, if you wish to pay by purchase order.
Once your registration has been validated, a paid invoice will be sent to you by email.
For donor members, a tax receipt (Cerfa N° 11580*03) will be sent to you on receipt of your payment.
